Obituary
Abel Gonzalez, 77, of Denton, passed away, Monday, February 1, 2016 in Denton. He was born July 31, 1938 in San Benito, TX to Andres and Amelia Aldape Gonzalez. He had retired from the Denton Post Office. Abel served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam War.
Abel is survived by his daughter, Brinda Gonzalez Hackler and husband Jerry of Denton; son, Rudy Gonzalez of Denton; daughter, Celina Gonzalez-Kregel and husband Keith of Denton; son, Abel E. Gonzalez of Denton; 5 grandchildren, Raquel Gonzalez, Samantha Gonzalez, Haley Hackler, Leah Kregel and Alexander Hackler; and sister, Betty Cavallero of Irving.
He is preceded in death by his parents, first born son, Ruben Gonzales, brothers, Ernesto Gonzalez, Andres Gonzalez and Elias Gonzalez and sisters, Ester Gonzalez and Eva Penny.
Graveside service will be Friday, February 5, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.at Roselawn Memorial Park.
