Obituary

Our sweet Ada Margaret "Granny" Jordan went to spend eternity with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 2, 2023. She was born in Sanger, Texas on March 9, 1941, to John and Lucille (Erwin) George. She attended Sanger High School, Class of 1959. Granny retired from Moore Business Forms and enjoyed managing Aspen Apartments in Sanger. She liked staying busy and spent the last 20 years of her life running Lone Oak RV Park in Valley View.

Granny loved people and was welcoming to all. She was everybody's Granny. She enjoyed listening to gospel and country music. She liked reading, puzzles, Hallmark movies, daytime soaps, Wheel of Fortune, gardening, card games, and cooking. She made the best fried pork chops, and her grandkids fought over them. Her grands and great-grands were her world. Granny's favorite thing was her family gathered around food. She was the heart of our family.

Granny is survived by daughter Cyndi Martin (Wally) of Era, daughter Kem Green of Granbury, son Dennis Jordan (Nancy) of Sanger, son Michael Hayhurst of Broken Arrow, OK, and son Jeffrey Morgan (Gina) of Sanger. She had many precious grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, grandson Jordan, and she was the last of 12 siblings to make her way to Heaven.

A celebration of life will be held for Granny at DeBerry Funeral Home from 5:00 PM- 7:00 PM, Wednesday, August 9, 2023.
