Obituary
Adelene Martin, 88 of Denton passed away April 26, 2013 in Flower Mound. She was born March 16, 1925 in Oil Trough, Arkansas to James Tobe Landrum and Ida Irene Landrum. She married the late: Floyd Chandler Martin in Newport, Arkansas on June 26, 1946. He preceded her in death on April 27, 1999.
Adelene attended Lindenwood University in Missouri and later graduated from Texas Woman's University in Denton, Tx. She was a teacher for Denton I.S.D. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Denton.
Adelene is survived by her daughter Kae Franks; sons, Danny Floyd Martin, and Larry Landrum Martin; brother, J.T. Landrum; five grand children and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Home from 4-6pm on Sunday April 28, 2013 for a visitation. There will be a private family service held.
Memorials may be made to the Habitat for Humanity.
