Adrian Eugene Bradshaw, 90, of Gainesville, Texas passed away on December 6, 2023 at his home. He was born in Burleson, Tennessee on December 5, 1933 to Euclid and Eunice Bradshaw.
Gene was born into a farming family and grew up to be a hard working man. He had 4 brothers and 1 sister whom he was very close to. Gene was drafted into the Army in the 50's and served his country during the Korean war. He was based in Germany for most of his term. After the war he worked several jobs. Finally, he settled on painting and found he was good at it. He loved traveling, fishing, going to Casinos and RVing. His passion was to be happy and have a good time with family and friends.
We will miss your witty spirit and your vast knowledge. Rest in peace and know this is not to say goodbye, but talk to ya later. You will forever live in our heart and soul.
He is survived by his daughters, Laverne Holmes of Gainesville, Tx., Demetra Lynch, and husband, Mark Fuentes of Gainesville, Tx., Adrienne Bradshaw-Bonds, and husband Jason of McKinney, Tx., and Holly Johnson of Lake Dallas, Tx., sons, Howard Bradshaw of Minnesota, and Dennis Bradshaw of Lewisville, Tx., sister, Doris Cook of Tennessee, brothers, Gervais Bradshaw of Tennessee, Devon Bradshaw of Tennessee, and Ray Bradshaw of Tennessee, thirteen grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM the following day, Monday December 11, at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville, Texas.
