Alice Lee Moore, 66, of Denton, Texas went to be with the Lord on Saturday April 22, 2017 at home surrounded by family.

Alice Lee Moore was born August 14, 1950 in Bradley, Arkansas to the late Laura Tucker and Marsella (Boss) Moore. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Leola Thirdgill, Cleo Hunt, Mary Moore, and Velma Moore; four brothers, JR Moore, James  Moore and Arthur Moore.

She attended Bradley High School before moving to Dallas, Texas in 1967. She was employed at Pearle Optical for many years.  She also worked for Morris Electronic for several years. Alice retired from TL Electronic in 2000.

Alice Lee Moore was a giving person who loved her children and grandchildren who were the light of her life.  Alice was also a spiritual person who loved the Lord and trusted that he would take care of her.

Alice leaves behind two children, Patricia Flowers of  Denton, Texas  and Howard Moore (Bettina) of  Lewisville, Texas; three step children,  Donna Williams of Cedar Hill, Texas; Howard Jones of Cedar Hill, Texas and Dwayne Williams of Dallas, Texas;  two sisters; Mattie Johnson (Johnny) Bradley of Arkansas and Ida Lee Griffin of Texarkana, Arkansas, fourteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday April 28, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Antioch Christian Fellowship in Corinth, Texas.
