Obituary

Alice Patterson passed away on Easter Sunday in Corinth, Texas.  She will be missed by family and friends.  Alice was raised by Wilson and Charlotte Patterson as an Air Force brat. Due to her father's career in the US Air Force Alice grew up while being stationed overseas with her parents. She spent time in Japan and looked back fondly at her time in Germany as a teenager. After high school and her family settling in Denver, Alice worked as a book keeper for various small businesses including a few car dealerships. She was a long tenured employee at Diners Club International, working in their corporate accounts department before retiring in her 60s.

Throughout her life Alice was devoted to family and loved animals. She could cook a Thanksgiving dinner from scratch. She always had pets around and cared for her father in the later years of his life. She took cruises with relatives, enjoyed long drives in the Colorado mountains and the hot springs in Glenwood Springs. She became an aunt through her father's marriage to Scott and Jeff whom she supported as he grew up. Alice relocated to Krugerville, Texas in the later years of her life to escape the city life of Denver to relax and be closer to her cousin Sharon Grigsby in Texas. Her move and renewed interest in meeting people gave her a positive outlook. She again adopted pets and was taking care of herself before the pandemic isolated her and so many single people like her. Rest in peace Alice.
