Lisa Lopez, 60, of Ponder, Texas, passed away peacefully alongside her family on July 23, 2026. She was born on June 1, 1966, in Lamesa, Texas, to Margaret and John Lopez.

For 39 years, she stood by her husband Alfredo's side, building a life and a family rooted in love. Together they raised five children, and she went on to become the beloved grandmother of 14 grandchildren, each of whom she loved deeply and completely.

Lisa had a heart of gold. She was honest, witty, and always seemed to know just the right advice to give. She found joy in cooking for the people she loved and treasured nothing more than spending quality time with her family. Her warmth and wisdom touched the hearts of everyone who knew her, and her legacy lives on in the countless lives she shaped.

She is survived by her husband Alfredo; her children, Lupe, Jonathan, Christopher, Ashley, and Alfredo Jr.; her 14 grandchildren; her sister, Edolina; and her brothers, Ruben and Gerald. She is preceded in death by her father, John, and her brothers Rogelio, Fidel, and Eloy, who welcomed her home to the Lord.

She will be deeply missed, but her love, her wisdom, and her heart of gold will live on in every life she touched.
