Alta "Corky" Cate, 89, of Justin, Texas passed away on January 3, 2018 in Justin. She was born in Ponder, Texas on September 26, 1928 to Albert and Ova (Tettleton) Williams.

She graduated from Justin High School. She married Floyd "Monk" Cate on November 5, 1955 in Abilene, Texas. She retired from Justin State Bank after 58 years where she met and kept many great friendships. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Justin.

She is survived by her daughter, LuAnn Curtis and husband Ron of Justin, son, Brent Cate and wife Lisa of Justin and sister Edna "Toots" Wallace of Justin, grandchildren; Melisa Lauderdale, Bryan Cate, Nate Curtis and Grant Curtis and 7 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Cate, mother and father, sisters; Ethel Ford, Tommie Pope and Jesse Jones, brothers; Skeet Williams and Jack Williams.

The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church of Justin on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 6-8 PM. Funeral Service will be held at the church on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 10:00 AM with interment to follow at Justin Cemetery.
