Amanda Lee Foust

Passed away January 19, 2021 in Ft.Worth, Texas from the Covid 19 virus. She was born October 27, 1952, in Ft.Worth, to J.E. Foust Jr. and Marilyn (Paine) Foust of Grapevine. Amanda graduated from Grapevine high school in 1971. After high school, she attended TCU in Ft.Worth where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education.

Throughout her high school and college years, Amanda was known as a "Top Tier" tennis player. She won top honors in many tournaments. After graduation from TCU, she worked at several country clubs and tennis camps as a tennis pro.  She worked for a time as the tennis pro at the famous "Sagebrush Inn & Resort" in Taos, New Mexico. Her time there led her to fall in love with Taos and the surrounding mountains.  In her later adult years Amanda turned her interests to business. She owned and operated several area enterprises.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.E.Foust Jr. of Grapevine and her mother Marilyn Foust Jones of Taos,NM.

She is survived by her brother, John Foust and wife Donna of Denton, and one sister, Adair Foust of Grapevine.

A casual memorial service will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the Grapevine Elks Lodge, 909 Bushong Rd. Grapevine, Texas .

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Amanda Foust Memorial Scholarship Fund. C/O
