Amy Beatrice Eaton, 76, of Sanger, Texas passed away on July 5, 2013. She loved life and her church. She was a hard worker and enjoyed working out in her yard. She was a lifelong member of The Church of God of the Union Assembly.

She was born on May 6, 1937 to Lloyd and Stella Singleton in New Boston, Texas. She retired as a custodian from Texas Woman's University.

She is survived by daughters, Connie Duke and husband Ronnie of Jonesboro, GA; and son, Steve Eaton and wife Evelyn of Sanger, TX; one sister, Joyce Starnes of Texarkana, TX; daughter-in-law, Jo Collins of Dalton, GA; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Tony Eaton; 7 brothers, Lloyd Singleton, Harry Singleton, Willy Singleton, Henry Singleton, Charlie Singleton, Albert Singleton, and Lynn Singleton.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 3-5 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 10:00 am. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at United Memorial Gardens in Dalton, GA, with arrangements by Dalton Funeral Home.
