Ana Maria Schmidt, 85, of Oak Point, Texas passed away Saturday, August 24 at her home. She was born November 28, 1933 in Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico to Vincente and Socorro Sagrestano.

She was a member of the Roman Catholic Church and worked in retail prior to her retirement.

Ana married Albert J. Schmidt in Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico on August 03, 1962. They went on to have four children.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mario Sagrestano. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Albert Schmidt, daughter, Ana Zmolik (Jimmy), sons, Alberto Schmidt (Lorena), Aaron Schmidt (Terri) and Anthony Schmidt (Kim), sister, Alma Tellez, brother, Angel Sagrestano, her grandchildren Danica Ferrell (Patrick), Hunter Zmolik (Shannon Jones), Zachary Zmolik (Alyssa), Hayley Schmidt, Caleb Schmidt, Luke Schmidt, Sam Schmidt, Max Schmidt, and Asa Schmidt, and two great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Lucy Zmolik.

Visitation and Rosary will be Thursday, August 29 at St. Mark Catholic Church at 7 pm.  Funeral service will also be at the church on Friday, August 30 at 10:30 am with Father George officiating.
