Andrea (Mitchell) Burgess, age 50, passed away unexpectedly on January 24, 2025, in Bridgeport, TX. Born on October 22, 1974, in Aiken, SC, Andrea was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend.

Andrea was part of a large, close-knit, and loving family who cherished her vibrant personality and infectious laugh. Throughout her life, Andrea touched the hearts of all who knew her with her warm heart, quick wit, and the way she could light up a room with her laughter. She spent most of her life in Texas, where she had three wonderful children: Ian (20), Zachary (18), and Sophia (16).

Andrea leaves behind a family that will miss her deeply. She is survived by her mother, Teri Reeves, and step-father, Alvin Reeves, of Denton, TX; her father, Jerry Mitchell, of Austin, TX; her sister, Jennifer Buckley, of Greensboro, NC; her brother, Victor Reeves (Danielle), of Rio Rancho, NM; her children, Ian Lepkoske, Zarchary Lepkoske, and Sophia Lepkoske, and many other family members, including nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins, etc. who were blessed to know and love her. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mandy Olson, and her maternal grandparents, Bill and Ruth Vogel, as well as paternal grandparents, Gerald and Nedra Mitchell, all of Denton.

Andrea's legacy will live on in the memories and stories shared by all who loved her. Whether it was through her wit, laughter, or unwavering support, Andrea's presence in the lives of her family and friends will be remembered fondly.

A 9:30 AM Rosary and a 10:00 AM Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at St. Mark Catholic Church, located at 6500 Crawford Rd, Argyle, TX 76226. The family invites all who knew Andrea to join them in celebrating her life and cherishing the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
