Andrea Powell, 35, fought long and hard to battle complications of 30 years of Diabetes. She lost her battle on October 4, 2013 surrounded by family.


Andrea was born December 20, 1977 to Luanne Stalling Guditis and Charles Michael Powell. She attended Denton High School and Ryan High School and graduated from ITT with as associate's degree in Graphic Design in 2005.


She is survived by her mother, Luanne Guditis and stepfather, Richard Guditis; brothers, Kris Powell and wife Mandi, Jared Guditis and wife Maria, Ricky Guditis and wife Roberta, Jeremi Guditis and wife AnnBryon; grandfather, John Stallings, grandmother, Betty Powell, Margie and Dick Guditis; aunts, Cathy Wilkinson and Leslie Guditis, Mitchell Salas, boyfriend and caretaker, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Michael Powell, grandmother, Catherine Stallings, and grandfather, Charles W. Powell.


Visitation will be Monday, October 7, 2013 from 6 - 8 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
