Angelita Alambar, 86 of Denton, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013. She was born on July 8, 1927 in Junction, Texas to Juan and Maria Hernandez. She married Cecil Alambar in Winters, Texas in February of 1952.

Angelita is survived by her daughters, Elise Shelton and husband Brad of Denton, Ester Diaz and husband Larry of Willow Park; sons, Ector Alambar and wife Mary Alambar of Sanger, Erasmo Alambar of Denton; and brother, Tony Hernandez of Bakerfield, California; grandchildren, Amy Gatlin and husband Justin, Coty Alambar and wife Karla, Brooke Troegle and husband Colin, Amanda Shelton, Allie Shelton, and Ben Diaz; great grandchildren, Donovan and Landon Bernal, Jacob and Cason Alambar, Sophia and Ella Troegle, and Kameron Gatlin.

She is preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Maria Rosario Alambar; sons, Eric and Ernest Alambar; sister, Margaret De La Rosa; brothers; Manuel Hernandez, Jesus Hernandez, Juan Hernandez, Joe Hernandez, and Benny Hernandez.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 6-8 pm with Rosary starting at 7pm in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 11 am at the Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.
