Anita Fabela passed away in Denton, Texas on Thursday, December 19, 2024. She was born in McAllen, Texas on January 5, 1942 to Eliseo and Isabel Aldaco. Anita enjoyed the daily reading of her Bible, spending time with her family and going to play Bingo. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Pablo Gomez Fabela.

Funeral services will take place at DeBerry Funeral Home at 2:00PM, Friday, January 3, 2025 with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Anita is survived by her six children - Sally, Paul, Dianna (David) Moore, Patsy, Mary, and Jesse (Diana) Fabela, five grandchildren (Joey and Kara Fabela, Andy and Christy Fabela, Ryan and Brittany Hatchell, Sara Fabela, Landen Johnson and six great-grandchildren (Kaiya, Logan, Eli, Kaylee, Addison and Sutton).
