Ann R Dean, 88, died October 4, 2013, in Denton Texas. Funeral service will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton on October 9, 2013 at 1 pm.

Ann was born July 7, 1925, in Montgomery AL. She is preceded in death by her parents Burr Reeves and Ruth Stams, husbands Col. William Fitzgerald and Robert Dean, and brother Burr Reeves Jr.

Ann is survived by daughter Rebecca Pinell, son Jeffrey (Cynthia) Fitzgerald, son John (Anna) Fitzgerald, brother Nick (Mary) Stams, 7 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Ann's courage, sense of humor, and joy of living helped her endure and thrive in the face of life altering physical challenges.

The family extends their gratitude to the Denton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for their loving care.
