Anthony "Tony" Earl Ames, 62, of Denton, TX passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022. He was born in Denver, CO on June 13, 1960, to Earl Owen Ames and Eileen M. Boyce Ames.

He was employed as a painter in the construction field.

Anthony enjoyed mountain biking, hiking, and fishing. He absolutely loved nature.

He is survived by his mother, Eileen Akers, sister Vicki Holt and her husband Mike Holt, sister Theresa Enis and her husband Philip Enis, brother Rick Ames and his wife Colleen Ames, brother David Ames and his wife Kim Ames, along with the following nieces and nephews: Micah Ames, Coulter Ames,  Joshua Ames, Trevor and Erin Enis, Frank Gibson, Elisha Gibson, and Jacob Enis.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Ames, and step-father, George Akers.

The family will hold a private service.
