Arletta V. Bobbitt, age 81 of Ballston Lake, NY (formerly from Ponder, TX) passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 16, 2021. Born on January 11, 1940 in Rich Hill, MO, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Maxine Kennedy. She was predeceased by her husband Dean Bobbitt and her brother Gerald Kennedy.

Arletta briefly worked as a rural mail carrier before deciding to stay home to raise her family in Ponder, Texas. She enjoyed sewing, tending to her garden, and cooking.

She is survived by her son Kevin Bobbitt, daughter Kimberly Dawson, and her grandchildren Lucas, Gabriel, and Addison; nephews, Damon and Tim Barrick; niece, Laura Doner; five great nephews and two great nieces.

A graveside service will be held on June 5, 11:00 am at Eakin Cemetery in Ponder, Texas.
