Arnold Austin Rindal, 84, of Krum passed away Friday, December 20, 2013, in the comfort of his home with his family by his side. Arnold "aka" Pa was born November 1, 1929 in Montana. Arnie was a loving, kind and generous gentleman. He enjoyed working, traveling, eating fried chicken with veggies and cracking jokes no matter what the occasion. Arnie loved his time with his family, and would make sure any pet he owned was watered and fed before he even ate. This was a small symbol of his kind heart.

Visitation will be Friday, December 27, 2013. from 6 to 8 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. There will be a celebration of life service held December 28, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Krum at 11 a.m.

Arnold is survived by his son, Jason and wife Lindsey Rindal of Krum; daughter, Vicki Chance and husband Fred of Lewisville; grandchildren, Austin and wife Wendy Chance of Denton, Beth-Ann and husband L.D. McLane of Lewisville and Brylee Dickens of Krum; great grandchildren, Gabby Hunt-Chance and Gunnar Chance of Denton, Lanie Murphee and Blake McLane of Lewisville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Ann's Haven VNA of Denton, 501 S. Carroll Blvd. Suite 201, Denton, Texas 76201 in memory of Arnold Rindal.
