Obituary

Arthur Douglas (A.D.) Hartline , 87, of Denton, passed away on February 12, 2014. He was born on April 14, 1926 in Renner, Texas to Arthur Douglas Hartline Sr. (Doug) and Margaret McClary Hartline. He married Jean O'Brien in Denton at The Little Chapel in the Woods on November 15, 1952. He was an Elder Emeritus at the First Christian Church in Denton, a member of the Evening Optimist Club, Good Sam Camping Club, and a Denton Food Pantry Volunteer.

Visitation will be held at Patricia White's house, 1905 Burning Tree, Denton, 76209 on Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 1-4 pm. Viewing will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Saturday or Sunday. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 17, 2014 at 11:00 am at First Christian Church, 1203 Fulton St. in Denton. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.

A.D. is survived by his wife, Jean; daughters, Margaret Adamson and husband Rick, Patricia White and husband Bill, and Susan Schoenthal and husband Eddie; brother, Jimmy Hartline; 10 grandchildren, Jeremy Deckard (Kelly), Candace Deckard, Chris Deckard (Missy), Doug Deckard (Nicole), Scott Deckard (Cindy), Kelly Wooten, Cassie Longoria (Daniel), Katie Holley (Matt), Josh Schoenthal, and Ben Schoenthal; and 12 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
