Asher Michael Bartz ran into his Savior's arms on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. He was born in Denton, Texas, on February 6, 2017, to Jacob and Breanna Bartz.

Asher loved the Lord, singing His praise and reading and memorizing His Word. His brother, Simeon, was his best friend, and he loved playing all sorts of games with him. He spent a lot of time being read to by his dad and doing crafts with his mom. Asher also enjoyed spending time with his friends and knew how to be gentle with the younger kids but still play rough with those a bit older.

He would often be found outdoors exploring in the garden, looking for bugs, or watching the birds. He loved all of God's creatures and took joy in learning obscure facts about each kind of animal. He would incorporate all the facts he knew into his neverending stories and play. He was a creative, kind, and gentle kid who also enjoyed hard work and helping others.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, July 10, 2025, at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, at First Baptist Church of Sanger with burial following at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.

Asher is survived by his dad, Jacob; his mom, Breanna; and his brother, Simeon.
