Athlee Krueger, 75, of Denton passed away on June 6, 2020 in Denton surrounded by family. She was born in Tioga Texas to Adolf and Hertha (Suter) Jurecka.

Athlee was know as "Sugar" growing up and as "Granny" since 1985 when she became a grandmother. Her husband Raymond was the love of her life and the two were rarely seen apart. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren brought her much joy.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Krueger of Denton, sons; Raymond Krueger, Jr. of Denton, Tommy Krueger and wife Shannon of Valley View, Texas; grandchildren Ashley and Justin Miskell, Tommy and Demetria Krueger Jr; great grandchildren Emorie, Kanton, and Laurisa Miskell with Dominic Krueger to be welcomed in November.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father and brothers, John Jurecka and Leo Jurecka.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 8, 2020 from 6-7:30 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Valley View Cemetery in Valley View, Texas.
