Barbara Jayne Burger, 79, of Corinth, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at her home. She was born to Dewey Glenn and Lillie Doyle Stucke Burger on February 7, 1942 in Eden, Texas.

Barbara worked for the Denton State School as a coordinator assistant and was a lifetime member of The Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Lillie Burger, brothers, Dewey Wayne Burger and Jerry Lynn Burger and great-nephews, John Kelly Burger and Brady Burger.

Barbara is survived by her nephews, Darrell, Johnny, Gregory, James and Jerry Burger, niece, Christy Lynn Rodgers, five great-nieces, eleven great-nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas on Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 1-3:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors Monday, March 22, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. with Weylan Deaver officiating. Internment will follow the service at Roselawn Memorial Park, also in Denton.
