Barbara Evelyn Lang, 67, of Gainesville, Texas passed away on April 30, 2022 in Ft. Worth. She was born in Ft. Worth to Robert and Mildred (Breeze) Davis, on March 22, 1955. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother and Nana. She married her best friend Don Lang on January 17th in 1982. They spent all their time together, were lifelong companions and had the kind of love you hear about in movies. If she wasn't singing karaoke, she was listening to music. She loved cooking, shopping and buying up all the makeup she could, and she refused to give up on wrinkle cream. She was a very funny and witty woman and could cheer anyone up. Any friend her kids would invite over were always welcomed, included, and became one of her own. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life. We all find comfort in knowing that our dad has welcomed her at the pearly gates and has her spot saved on the back of his Harley.

She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Lang of Burleson (Justin Perrin) Trisha Lang of Gainesville (Chris Hestand), sons; Johnny Stevens of Gainesville, Denny Stevens of Denton, Tim Stevens of Bowie,. sisters, Debbie Harper and Carolyn Lester, and grandchildren (Rainey, Chloe, Dennie, Addyson, Jensen, Serenity, Ariah, Christian, Andrew) and several nieces and nephews that she adored.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lang, her mother and father, sister, Glenda Davis, brother Bobby Davis, and grandchild Caylee.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors.
