Barbara Martin, 70, of Grabill, IN has completed the race set before her and has received her Heavenly crown. She was born October 6, 1943 in Miami, AZ to Val Lee Sturgeon and Mamie M. Sawyer Sturgeon. She married Jerry Don Martin on April 16, 1964 in Lamesa, TX. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Denton Church of God.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 1:00 – 2:00 prior to the service at 2:00 in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Rev. Glen Daniels officiating. Burial will follow at Sanger Cemetery.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Kristie Miller and husband Mike, sisters, Lavona Thorpe and husband Gary, brother, Lee Sturgeon and wife Kathie, grandchildren, Treavor Farmer, Hailey Farmer, Ryan Farmer, Jarred Miller, Avery Miller, Jillian Miller and great grandson, Emery Farmer. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Betty Hall, granddaughter, Laicey Farmer.
