Barbara Jean Nelson, 72, of Argyle passed away on December 13, 2021 in Denton, TX. She was born on November 24, 1949 in Malvern, AR to Obie and Odessa (Baugh) Reynolds.

Barbara was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses July 3, 1964 in Texarkana, TX and served faithfully throughout her life.  Ray and Barbara were wed December 6, 1969 in Little Rock, AR and celebrated their 52 ^nd Anniversary on Monday, December 6, 2021.  Barbara was a dedicated and loving mother to her two children "Ronald" and "Misty".  Barbara was a talented oil painter, loved crafts and made beautiful, crocheted goods for her loved ones.  Everyone loved her beautiful personality, and often commented that whenever they called, despite how bad she felt, she could make them laugh.

She is survived by her husband Ray Nelson of Argyle, son, Duron and his wife Christa Nelson of Denton, daughter, Le'Kedra and husband Keair Queen of Arlington, VA, brother, Rudie and Bettye of Argyle and their son Rudye Reynolds of Richmond, VA, grandchildren, Jocelyn Rae Nelson, Brooklyn Elyse Nelson, and Jacob Nelson.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, TX. A Graveside Service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park at 1:00 PM.
