Obituary
Barbara Gail Smartt, 73, of Denton, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. She was born on July 1, 1940 to William Terrell Smartt Sr. and Myrtle Allen Smartt. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Denton and ALTRUSA of Denton. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Texas Woman's University.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 4-6 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 10:00 am at Roselawn Memorial Park with Rev. Jon Kendzie officiating.
Barbara is survived by her nieces, Cortney and Brittany Smartt; nephew, William Smartt III; and sister-in-law, Joy Smartt. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, William Terrell Smartt Jr.
