Barbara Zvomuya, 62 of Denton, Texas passed away on August 2, 2017 in Denton. She was born on August 24, 1954 to Lameck Muzonda and Tabeth Muchetu in Harare, Zimbabwe. She married Leonard Zvomuya in Harare, Zimbabwe on April 6th 1974.

She worked at the Vintage Health Care Center in Denton.

She's survived by her husband, Leonard Zvomuya, three children, Vincent Zvomuya, Tendai Zvomuya Dzingai, Tinashe Zvomuya, five grandchildren, Tendekai, Tinotenda (Cleveland Ohio), Tapiwa (Zimbabwe), Ayanda (South Africa) and Tatenda (United Kingdom).

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. A Mass will follow at 2:00 P.M.

In Zimbabwe the family will be receiving friends on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. at the Holy Name Church Mabelreign Harare Zimbabwe, where a mass will follow soon after. She will be interred in Warren Hills Cemetery in Harare Zimbabwe Saturday August 19th 2017 at 2:00 pm.
