Becky Ellis Massey 77 of Krum passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas to Benjamin and Maude Ellis on December 7, 1945. Becky enjoyed crafting and crochet most of her life. She took great pleasure in caring for her animals and monitoring her local wildlife, frequently reporting on their activities. She is preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Massey. Becky worked as a Registered Nurse with West Gate Hospital and later as a Nurse for the late Dr Alvarez.

Visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Home from 5PM to 7PM on Wednesday, January 18, 2023. Funeral services are scheduled for 1PM Thursday, also at DeBerry's with interment to follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Denton. Her grandaughter's husband, Wesley Martin will serve officiating the service.

Becky is survived by her daughter Tiffany Massey Darley and husband Brian, Sons Timothy Kirk Massey and wife Tina, Michael Todd Massey and wife Jodi, sister-in-law Marilyn Blanton, grandchildren,  Zachary Massey, Wynn Massey, Ben Massey, Valerie Martin, great grandchildren, Rebecca and Emerson, nephews Mark Anderson, Matt Anderson and wife Stephanie and their children Jack, Logan and Tatum Jewell.

If preferred, in lieu of flowers, Becky's favorite charities were The Linda McNatt Animal Shelter and First Refuge Ministries.
