Bessie Ann Williams, age 96, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior on September 21, 2025, in Springtown, Texas (formerly of Trenton, Texas).

Born on April 21, 1929, she lived a long life and was devoted to her family and friends. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose kindness, gratitude, and prayers blessed many. "She said if it was out of her control, she was not going to worry about it."

She is survived by her grandchildren, Susan (Chris) Shopinski and Corey (Mary) Herron; great-grandchildren, Lacee (Sawyer), Chance (Kara), Zach, and Alex; great-great grandchildren Crew, Bodi, & Evelyn; brother, W.C. (Audrey) Grimes; sister-in-law, Peggy Williams; nephews & nieces Patricia (Steve) Allen; Glenda (Toby) Curry, Glen (Jennie) Teague, Gary Teague, Jimmy (Sarah) Grimes; and dear friend, Judy Brumfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Williams; companion, Clark Haynes; son, Charles Williams; parents, Charlie and Theresa (Ally) Grimes; brothers William Edward and Delton Grimes; and sister Dasilee (Grimes) McGarrah.

A celebration of her life will be held graveside on Friday, September 26 at 11:00am at Shiloh Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank friends, family, and caregivers for their loving support and rejoice that she has found her eternal home in Heaven, reunited with loved ones, and at peace in the arms of Jesus.
