Bette Metzger Allin, 82, of Corinth passed away at her home on September 8, 2019. She was born on February 7, 1937 in Elkhart, Indiana to Kenneth and Eunice (Josephson) Metzger.

She graduated from Indiana University and was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority. On June 20th, 1959, she married James Allin in Elkhart, Indiana and they remained married until her death. She was a wonderful, loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed homemaking, her family, singing and playing the piano. She had a beautiful singing voice.

She is survived by her husband, James Allin of Corinth, Texas; her daughter, Kathleen Allin of Dallas, Texas; her son, Paul Allin of Liberty Hill, Texas; and her two grandchildren, Kelsea Allin and Ryan Allin, of Austin, TX. She was preceded in death by her mother and father.

A celebration of life service will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on October 5th at 2:00 p.m.
