Bettie Ford, age 86, passed away on May 24, 2019 in Denton, Tx. Bettie was born December 4, 1932 to Dick Terry and Velma Zerwer. She was retired from the Denton Independent School District.

Bettie is survived by her daughters, Helen Goin and husband David of Mineola, Tx., Cindy Leigh Ford of Denton, Tx., Son, Dan Ford of Collinsville, Tx., sisters, Laura Kokozaki of Atlanta, Ga., and Lela Grace Pittman of Ponder, Tx., and seven grandchildren, Sheri Pickle, Rebecca Goin, Melissa Ewing, Valerie Whitehead, Chris Ford, Kelly Ford and Tyler Ford, and eight great-grandchildren and one on the way.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Velma Zerwer, sisters, Maxine Bilyeu and Juanita Campbell and grand-daughter, Angela Kay Goin.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 5:30-7:30 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Jackson Cemetery in Krum, Tx.

Pallbearers will be Chris Ford, Kelly Ford, Tyler Ford, Rusty Pickle, Sheri Pickle, Kaitlyn Pickle, Brittany Pickle and Riley Dixon.
