Betty Jean Nay Davis, 94, of Justin, Texas passed away peacefully at her home. She was born in Dodge City, Kansas on February 21, 1927 to Viola Louise (Shoemate) and Dan Nay.

She married Loren E. Davis in Englewood, Kansas on January 17, 1943 and they went on to have five children, Sheila, Patricia, Patrick, Danny and Wesley.

Betty was a member of the Church of Christ in Justin. She taught 4 ^th and 5 ^th grade children over the course of her career as a school teacher.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Viola Nay, infant son, Patrick Davis, siblings, Barbara Crapson and Paul Nay and her beloved husband, Loren Davis.

Betty is survived by her children, Sheila Reed and husband, Elmer of Livingston, Texas, Patricia Whitten and husband, Donnie of Cedar Hills, Texas, Danny Davis and wife, Ruby of Silver City, New Mexico and Wesley Davis of Justin, Texas, twenty three grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M.

A funeral service will be held at Justin Church of Christ on Monday, April 19, 2021 beginning at 2:00 P.M with Joe Slater officiating. Interment will be held at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at a later date.
