Betty Jean (Statham) Lee 78 of Denton passed away Sunday March 15th, 2015 at the Lake Forest Good Samaritan Village in Denton. She was born September 3, 1936 in Mulberry, TX to Joseph Hunter and Delilah Wallace Boyer. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church and retired from the University of North Texas where she was a cook.

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors Tuesday night, March 17, 2015, from 6 to 8:00 p.m. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Rev. Buddy Owens officiating.

Betty is survived by; three daughters, three sons, three brothers, seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers.
