It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Betty John Robertson, beloved artist and cherished partner, who left this world peacefully on February 28, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on October 24, 1939, in Wichita Falls, Texas, Betty lived a life rich in creativity and passion, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the fortune to know her.

Betty pursued her education with dedication, ultimately earning a Master’s Degree from TWU that would serve as a foundation for her lifelong career as an artist. Her talent and commitment to her craft allowed her to express the world around her through her unique artistic lens, winning the admiration of many and highlighting the beauty in everyday life.

A resident of Denton, Texas, she was known not only for her artistry but also for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith. Betty’s life was further enriched by her loving spouse, Georgia Leech, with whom she shared countless moments of laughter and support.

Betty John Robertson will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. A celebration of Betty's life will be on March 28, 2026 at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church at 1:00. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Heifer International or by planting a tree in her memory.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents Jack Robertson and Ruby Lyles Robertson. She is survived by her spouse of 37 years Georgia Leech, her brother Jack Robertson and his wife Nancy and their children and grandchildren, and her many cousins.
