Obituary

Betty Jo Speck Robison was born on October 7, 1929, in Van Alstyne, Texas and passed away in her home in Denton on March 7, 2017.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a loyal friend.

She married the love of her life William Thomas Robison (Tom) on March 10, 1949. Tom and Betty lived in McKinney, Terrell and then Greenville, where they were founding members of Crestview Christian Church, before making their home in Denton in 1965.

Betty loved her life as a stay at home wife and mother. She was a Cub Scout den mother, Brownie and Girl Scout leader, classroom mother, and Sunday school teacher. She took great joy in her grandchildren, who called her by many names: Grandma, Grandma Robbie, Deema and Mimi.

Betty is survived by her four children, Cathy Miller of Sanger, Tom Robison Jr. of Tucson, AZ., David Robison of Denton, Kim Goss of Dallas, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
