Betty Louise Sprabary, 87, of Denton, TX passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. She was born in Sanger, TX on February 28, 1935, to Roy and Oma Lee Pennington.

She married Edgar Sprabary  in the year of 1949. She was employed at Jostens until she retired.

Betty enjoyed watching old westerns on TV and spending time with her family and grand children. She spent most of her time taking care of others and making sure everyone with her or around her were comfortable and had what they needed or hungry. I don't know of a time she wasn't asking if everyone around her was okay or if they needed anything.

She is survived by her children, Tresha Sprabary, Ava Strittmatter, Farron Sprabary, Bryan Sprabary, and Tony Sprabary. She has numerous grand children and great grand children.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Sprabary, Sabrina "Sprabary" McDonald, Elizabeth "Sprabary" Mozingo.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2022, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, TX. A graveside service will take place on Monday, August 15, 2022 starting at 10:00 AM at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas.
