Obituary
Betty Joyce Thornhill, 81, of Denton passed away on April 2, 2016 in Carrollton, Texas. She was born in Guntersville, Alabama on August 8, 1934 to Dewey and Stella (Pennington) Austin.
Betty was an active member of Jehovah's Witnesses
She married the late Harold Thornhill on June 24, 1952 in New Orleans, La.
She is survived by her son, Kerry Thornhill of Garland, Sister, Alice Craig of Forney, Texas, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother, father and husband, Harold Thornhill, and her daughter Cynthia Cates.
A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's at 610 W. Windsor Dr., Denton, TX 76207 on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 1 P.M.
