Beverly Louise Blanchard, 92, of Denton, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2012. She was born ON July 7, 1919 in North Andover, MA to Lyman E. Small and Helen Prescott Small.

She lived in Groton, NY for over 30 years and retried from Cornell and moved to Texas to reside with her daughter. In her early years, she worked at Groton Day Care Center and taught Sunday School. She also volunteered at many places.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 6:00 pm at the First Cumberland Presbyterian with Pastor John Lindsay officiating.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Susan Darling; son, Dennis Lawrence; sister, Virginia Curtis; brother, Ralph Small; former husband, Ralph Blanchard; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Richard Lawrence; her parents; sister, Rene Davis; brothers, Alvin, Harold, Irving, and Lyman Small; and granddaughter, Shanan Darling.
