We are saddened to announce that Beverly Gay Gibbs, 83, of Justin, Texas passed away peacefully in her home Sunday, October 22, 2023. Beverly, better known as "Granny" was born in Decatur, Texas on January 31, 1940 to Loran Roscoe and Ina Mozell Harvick. Beverly loved her church, her family, animals of all kinds, and just about any sport a person could play. She could often be found supporting her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren at sporting events, enthusiastically cheering them on.

Beverly may be best known for her incredible faith in the Lord as well as for the role she played as caregiver to so many in the community. Beverly married Hugh A. Gibbs on January 12, 1962, over the course of their 35 years together, they built a home and family consisting of 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Jimmy and Jerry Don Harvick, her sister, Sherry St. Romain, husband, Hugh Gibbs, and son, Lendsey Gibbs. She is survived by her daughter Lori Grant and her husband Jim of Justin, TX, son, Lanny Gibbs and wife Shannon of Holliday, TX, son, Lesley Gibbs and wife Jenny of Lewisville, TX, and daughter-in-law, Tammy Gibbs, of Aubrey, TX, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Rhome, TX on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 2:00 pm.
