Beverly Ann Ward Johnson, 79, of Krum passed away Monday, October 20, 2014 at the Denton Good Samaritan Health Care Center. Beverly was born to Thomas and Elsie Ward on April 22, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan. In September of 1955 she married Paul Johnson in Columbus, Ohio. They had three children together Thomas, Sarah, and Richard. After moving to Texas Beverly became a Realty Specialist for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in Ft. Worth and was also a member of St. Andrew Presbyterian church in Denton.

Beverly is survived by her son Thomas Johnson of Mahomet, Illinois, her daughter Sarah Hicks of Krum, Texas, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul Johnson and their son Richard Johnson.

A Visitation will be Friday, October 24, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Services for Beverly Johnson will be Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Denton, with Rev. Lisa Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Jackson Cemetery.
