In Loving Memory of Beverly Ann Sisk

Celebrating the Life of a Devoted Christian, Mother and Entrepreneur

Beverly Ann Sisk went to be with our Lord on Thursday, January 29, 2026. A loving Christian woman, strong in her faith, she was an inspiration to all who knew her. Beverly was raised on a small farm in Indiana where she developed a deep appreciation for hard work, family, and the simple joys in life. Like her father, Beverly had a fierce sense of independence and can-do spirit. There was nothing she could not accomplish once she set her mind to it.

She pursued higher education with vigor, studying home economics at Purdue University and accounting at North Texas University. Beverly’s academic achievements laid the foundation for her successful and varied career. She was an accomplished entrepreneur. After many years of raising a young family and working for others Beverly struck out on her own. She founded a skin care business and pursued multiple avenues in real estate. She applied her business sense and can-do spirit to real estate sales, new home construction, and renovation of foreclosed houses for resale. Her lasting impact in North Texas was helping many families in tough financial situations achieve the dream of homeownership.

Beverly’s passions extended beyond her career. She found great joy in gardening, where tending to plants brought her a sense of peace and satisfaction. Her home was constantly surrounded by blooming flowers, flourishing trees, and thriving vegetables.

Beverly’s love for her family was evident in every aspect of her life, as she devoted herself to nurturing not only her own children but also her grandchildren and extended family. She loved to help people, always offering a helping hand and a listening ear to anyone in need. Her warm hospitality, gentle encouragement, and support created countless cherished memories for those fortunate enough to share in her company.

Beverly was preceded in death by her father and mother, George and Mary Shunk, and two older brothers, George and Richard Shunk. She is survived by one brother, William Shunk of Kansas; and three children: daughter Roberta Farmer of Decatur, Texas; son William Sisk of Camp Wood, Texas; and son Greg Sisk of Reno, Nevada.

She also leaves behind a legacy of love and family through her seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Life

A celebration of Beverly’s life will be held at a later date. Family and friends will gather to honor her memory, share stories, and reflect on the many lives she touched with her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering faith.

Beverly Ann Sisk will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
