Beverly Wright, 67, of Denton passed away peacefully on June 12, 2021 at her home. She was born on December 18, 1953, in McKinney, Tx., to Pastor James and Layla (Reedy) George.

Beverly grew up the youngest of four children in Argyle, Tx.  Shortly after leaving home, she enlisted in the Army and was honorably discharged after serving in assignments at Fort Riley, Ks., and Fort Hood, Tx.  Upon completion of her military service, she relocated back to Denton County to raise her family with her late husband Kenneth Wright.  In 2003, and after 30 years of combined federal service, Beverly retired from the United States Postal Service as a postal clerk in Krum, Tx.

She is survived by her partner, Robert Eberhart of Denton, son, David Dulaney and wife Mindy of Flower Mound, Tx.; daughters, Tamara Dulaney of Denton, Krista Roseland and husband David of Connecticut, Kara Barber and husband David of Denton; step-daughter, Linda Dawson and husband Dickey of Garland; sisters, Barbara Jackson and her husband Larry of Sanger, Helen Long of Argyle, brother, Johanna George and wife Betty of Athens, Tx.; and thirteen grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, from 5-7 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Tx.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors.
