Billy Wayne Butler, 75 of Sanger, Texas passed away on June 19, 2018 in Denton, Texas. He was born on July 4, 1942 in Denton, Texas to Charles Arthur and Edith (Burns) Butler. Bill married Ruth Lee in Freeport, Texas on August 24, 1968.

Bill was a member of the Highland Baptist Church. Bill did not get to see his 50 ^th wedding anniversary by about two months and his 76 ^th birthday by about two weeks.

Bill is survived by his wife, Ruth Lee Butler of Sanger, aunt, Mary Seidemann of Justin and four nieces and nephews living in all directions.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Edith and brother, Charles Butler.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 22, 2018 prior to the funeral service, from 10-11 A.M. Funeral services will start at 11:00 A.M. Both will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Rev. Brandon McCarroll officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
