Donald "Bill" Justus 80 of Denton passed away September 22, 2023, at the family ranch in Erath County. He was born February 12, 1943, at home in Cross Roads, Texas to Earl W. and Bonnie Dorner Justus. Bill was a graduate of Denton High School and attended North Texas State University.

He married Dee Ann Curry on June 21, 1980, at First Baptist Church of Denton.  He was a charter member of the NRA.  Bill retired as Quality Control Manager at Thermadyne (Victor Equipment).

The family will be at Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors for visitation Friday, September 29, 2023, from 5-7:00 p.m.  Funeral Services will be on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the DeBerry Funeral Chapel with the Rev.'s Buddy Owens and Cliff Feeler officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, East of Denton on FM 720.

Bill is survived by his wife of 43 years Dee Ann Justus of Denton; children, Sherrie (Bob) Drummond Cummings, GA; and Boyd (Cindi) Curry of Flower Mound,  Grandchildren Anthony (Jamie) Curry, Barbara Ward, Payton Curry, Alexandra Curry, Laurel Drummond, and Davis Drummond. Great grandchildren Jaelynn Ward, Nathan Curry, Kaleb Ward, Ashlynn Ward, Kaden Ward, and Mark Fazzio, III. Sister Earlene Burch and Sister-in-law Frances Justus, Nephews Robert Burch, Vince Justus, Scott Walton, and Wes Walton; Nieces Kelley Fritcher, Kim Howard, Donna Ellis, Jessica Carlile, Vesta Stacy, Regina Pigg, and a host of beloved cousins and special friends.

Pallbearers will be Boyd Curry, Anthony Curry, Nathan Curry, Robert Burch, Jack Howell, and Wendell Carlile.

Preceded by his parents, sister Marilyn Davis, and brother Charles Justus.
