Bill "Animal" Lee Arnold, 61, of Sanger passed away on June 30, 2016 in Denton, Texas. Bill was born in Denton, Texas to John Thomas and Maybell Earlene(Latham) Arnold on March 21, 1955.

Bill enjoyed watching drag racing, truck and tractor pulls. Bill won dozens of 1st place trophy's while cooking in BBQ competitions for his briskets.

After his retirement, Bill loved to go camping, in Colorado with his family. He enjoyed tinkering on engines at home and taking care of his 3 dachshunds. Bill worked at McClains R.V. and Champion Trailers. He would often volunteer at the Sanger elementary Schools.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Arnold, daughter, Katherine Ann Arnold, Sons; John Steven Arnold of Denton, Jason Chase Arnold of Sanger, sisters; Darlene Collins of Denton, Amilia Smith of Denton, Joyce Allsion of Lewisville and Tomie Meadows of Sachse, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father and brother, Charles Arnold.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev. Dickie Amyx and Jordan Johnson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Sanger Education Fund through the Sanger I.S.D.
