Billie Fae (GAGA) Cottle, aged 84, of Denton, TX passed away in her sleep March 8, 2014.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 2pm, in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas.
Reverend Monya Howard and Reverend Jack Howard of Full Gospel Church will be officiating. Burial will follow the funeral Saturday at Roselawn Memorial Park immediately after the service.
Visitation will be held from 6-8pm, Friday March 14 at DeBerry Funeral Directors.
Billie Fae was born in Memphis TX on January 26, 1930. She graduated from Pilot Point High School and relocated to Denton where she soon met her husband to be.
Billie Fae was married to Herbert H Cottle on December 27, 1949. They were married only 14 years before Herbert died and she never remarried.
Billie Fae worked as a school cafeteria manager for DISD for 25 years. She loved cooking, her family and her church.
Billie Fae is survived by her 2 daughters, Prudence Haywood and Deborah Cottle, four grandchildren, Sue Ann Gibson, Jason Frank Parks, Andrew Joel Parks and Cameron Taylor Bodenstadt, three (+) great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild and other family and friends.
Billie Fae is preceded in death by her mother and father, Velma Rena & Jesse Hafley, her husband Herbert H Cottle, her three sisters (Ora Lee Crabb, Mildred Harris & Marjorie Cummings and her eldest daughter Jacqueline Ann Parks Bodenstadt.
