Billie Marie McBride, age 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening June 13, 2018 in her home surrounded by her family in Denton, Texas. She was born August 18, 1931 in Sanger, Texas to E.F. and Mattie Kline.

She moved to Denton at a very young age. She worked at Duke and Ayres; Denton's five and dime store. She was most proud of her time as a Teller at First State Bank of Denton which is now Wells Fargo. She worked at the bank for well over 35 years and she adored her customers and seeing them on daily basis.

She was a member of Old Alton Baptist Church and then spent her later years attending GateWay Church of Denton where she loved visiting with the members of the congregation. She also very much looked forward to the Joy Luncheons at GateWay. She enjoyed visiting with her friends at the Denton Senior Center. She wrote the following; "a few of my friends were there, had coffee and cookie's", from a personal journal entry from December 21, 2012 among other beautifully written heartfelt entries about our family that have brought us pure joy and to tears.

Our Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother was a beautiful, smart, independent, strong, a fighter, generous, and most important she fiercely loved her family. She loved her family more than life itself. She is now at peace and is no longer in pain. She is now reunited in Heaven with her brother Jack Kline, her sister Nadine Clearman, and her Mom and Dad.

She is survived by her son, Mr. Glen McBride and wife Ellen McBride, her daughter, Ms. Keitha McBride, grand-daughter, Ms. Katy McBride, grandson, Andy McBride, and grandson, Jeff McBride, and her great-grand daughter Miss Kelsie Haggerty.

The family would like to thank Life Way Hospice for their compassionate care and love given to Billie, Lucy Voss for the beautiful dress and Denton Florist for the beautiful flower arrangement.
