Billie Jo Sweatman passed away in Denton, Texas on Friday, June 16, 2023. She was born in Levelland, Texas to Joe and Lela Skipworth on November 22, 1936. Billie loved her family and enjoyed being with friends. The best words to describe Billie were strong, determined, and fiercely independent. Her laughter was contagious, and her spirit was bright. She made the best of the life she was given. She was able to put a positive spin on life and lived it to the fullest.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Mark Morgan; brothers JC Skipworth, Gerald Skipworth, and Jewel Skipworth; sisters Nora Kramer, Valerie Milsap, Georgia Winters, LaVerne Chancelor, and Wanda Manning.

Visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Home from 5PM to 7PM, Wednesday, June 21, 2023. Funeral services will also be held at DeBerry Funeral Home beginning at 11AM Thursday, June 22, 2023 with interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Billie is survived by her daughter Dawn Null and Husband Chuck, Daughter in Law Melody Morgan and Son Dwayne Morgan and Wife Kim. Grandchildren Mady Null,  Robert Null and wife Alexis, Chad Null and wife Hannah, Chase Morgan, Stephanie Morgan, Niki Matthews, Eric Matthews, Heather Mize and Husband Bryan and Shannon Tunnell and Husband Cameron. Many Great Grand Children, Nieces and Nephews.
