Billy Lee Aday, 81, of Lake Kiowa, Texas passed away on August 6, 2019 at his home. He was born on July 29, 1938 in Winganon, Oklahoma to Henry and Tera (Hammesley) Aday.

He attended Chelsea, Oklahoma Schools and Married Sue Gail Fox on January 11, 1958 in Chelsea, Oklahoma. He worked at Sun Oil Refinery in Tulsa, then as an area sales representative out of Derby, KS for John Crane, Inc. until he retired in 2005. In retirement he enjoyed golf, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. Among his numerous accomplishments, one of his proudest was shooting at or below his age in golf on several occasions.

Billy was a member of the Masonic Lodge in El Dorado, KS, Patmos Lodge 97 from 1979 until his death. He was also a member of the Midian Shrine Temple in Wichita, KS since 1980.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Aday, son, Michael Aday of McPherson, KS, daughter, Lyneille Meza of Denton, TX (and her husband Michael), brothers, Walter Aday of Chanute, KS, Wilford Aday of Chanute, KS, Harold Aday of Wellington, KS, and Russell Aday of Ponca City, OK. He was also blessed with five grandchildren Jason Aday, Justin Aday, Franchessa Meza, Jessica Meza Kehler, and Emilio Meza, and two great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Makynzie Aday.

He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and siblings Horace Aday, Curtis Aday, Norval Aday, Cotton Aday, Oneida Layton, Roy Aday, David Aday, and Jimmie Aday.

A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m.on Tuesday, September 3 at the Lake Kiowa Lodge, 905 Kiowa Drive West, Lake Kiowa, TX 76240.
